Although the windows are always white on the inside. A wide range of colours are availiable externally.

Upvc windows can be painted any colour you choose. If your budget allows for it, we can professionally paint the external face of the upvc windows. This is a costly option, therefore most of our customers whom require a special colour purchase white windows and then paint themselves as a DIY project.

Always measure from inside.

Remove any internal trim around the window to reveal the existing window. Simply measure the existing window. If the existing window is a very tight fit, reduce the overall size by 5mm to allow for easy installation. 

Do not worry if you have rounded corners, these can easily squared off using a hand held oscillating saw. The corners do not need to be 'professionally squared' as the external overlap of the upvc window frame will cover the corners and therefore will not be seen.

The windows can be two ways dependent on the finish you require.

• Screw Fix: If your wall construction differs than the above wall thickness, or you'd prefer to trim the internal surround of the window with the existing timber or an new timber beading then you can fix them using screw fix through the depth of the window frame into the timber subframe of the window. Simply open the vent and screw through the frame
• Aluminium Fixing Kit: Installed by knocking an aluminium fixing bar into the specially designed window, giving a secure clamp fix finish. The fixing bar then doubles up as an internal trim which sits flush to the inner wall. This is suitable for wall construction of 38mm, 53mm or 70mm. 
• You will need to seal the odd leg frame (external lip) with non drying sealant silicone. You can also use a neoprene foam tape.

All our products are manufactured to your measurements and therefore are brand new.

The manufacturing lead time for our standard products and colours is around 3-4 weeks from the order confirmation.

Non standard colours are professionally painted and therefore have an extended lead time of up to 6-8 weeks from order confirmation.

Certain bespoke products such as complex shaped, arched or combination frames could take up to 6-8 weeks from order confirmation to be manufactured.

Delivery

We have historically had issues when using mainstream logistic companies for delivering windows, doors and glass. Products tend to get mistreated and even damaged.

For this reason, all our deliveries are transported in house using our 'man in a van' transport method. This ensures we have control over our products during transit and ensure goods are supplied on time and in full.

This method has downside as it is costly in comparison. We have addressed this by now offering 3 delivery price points. These are price per mile for one journey from our factory to your delivery address. (i.e 100 miles x £1 fast track = £100)

1) Fast Track - £1 per mile. Delivered within one week after manufacture.

2) 50% Off - Half Price Shared Delivery - 50 pence per mile. Delivered with at least one other order on the same delivery route. This may lead to an extended lead time dependent on orders.

2) 75% Off - Multiple Shared Delivery - 25 pence per mile. Delivered with at least two other order on the same delivery route. This may lead to an extended lead time dependent on orders.

We can also arrange to meet you half way or at a mutually agreed location such as a logistics company of your choice for those on the isles, to help reduce delivery costs throughout Scotland. We will work with you to help find the most cost effective solution.

Arranging your own logistic and collecting from our factory in Birmingham is also an option.
